Converted to a webpage, all of the spreadsheet components/functions are lost which defeats the purpose of sharing the spreadsheet. However, the other individual I contacted was sharing the intricacies of a rather sophisticated spreadsheet. She now uses this converted webpage which delivers all the same information from her document, without displaying her contact information.
She was sharing local information about COVID-19 via a read-only shared google document.
This was the case for the first individual I contacted. This approach works well for users who only want to share visual content from a file.
